Since our company was founded in January of 2014, we have been dedicated to creating and operating the best comprehensive platform for selling and trading Bitcoin and other virtual currencies as well as expanding the ability to make payments with virtual currencies.
Furthermore, we have been focused on performing research and development on creating new blockchain possibilities and services since we first launched.
Since commencing our Bitcoin exchange and market platforms we have seen amazing growth as we now have over a million users, our monthly transaction volume exceeds 9.5 trillion yen and our capital stock is approximately 4.1 billion yen making us the largest Japanese Bitcoin exchange (as of December 2017).
In order to make virtual currencies and blockchain technology grow more accepted worldwide, we are advancing our global development starting in America and Europe.
All of the services we offer are designed and developed in-house by our own engineers. While our engineers enjoy a large degree of independence, we also place a high value on continuous communication with our teams every day.
We don't tie down our designers and drafters with technical specifications when developing our services. The main factor in development is to ask ourselves if we can satisfy our customers.
In order to advance development based on the opinions of our customers our engineers give many ideas on how technology can be used to promote the growth of our services.
Also, our engineers can get their hands on new blockchain technology every day in a positively challeging environment.
bitFlyer aims to create the best environment for our engineers by investing in their needs and making the company easy to work for.
